Today Is Tech Tip Tuesday! When installing a Viking slide gate opener, it is very important to have the correct amount of catenary(slack) in the chain. We recommend 6”- 8” of catenary in the chain for Viking operators. This will help reduce overall current draw and ultimately reduce the stress on the gearbox.
